WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN
PALM BEACH SECTION WEBSITE
The National Council of Jewish Women is a volunteer organization that has been at the forefront of social change for over a century. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW courageously take a progressive stance on issues such as child welfare, women's rights, and reproductive freedom.
The Palm Beach Section was founded in 1975, and expanded with the addition of the Valencia Shores Branch in 2004. In 2007 the Section expanded as we welcomed the South Point Section of NCJW into our Section. They are now known as the South Point Division of the Palm Beach Section. Our Section now numbers 1150 members, having grown greatly in the past five years.
We are part of a dynamic organization whose members have been at the forefront of social change for more than a century -- championing the needs of women, children and families, while courageously taking a progressive stance on such issues as child wefare, women's rights and reproductive freedom.
NCJW embraces women of diverse backgrounds and temperaments - thinkers and doers, who want to play a part at the local, national and even global level. Informed by Jewish values - and our understanding that these values of universal appeal - the National Council of Jewish Women is nothing less than the place where women from across society come together to make the world at large, and their communities, in particular, a better place.
We welcome new members who share our vision and seek to work with us to make the world a better place for us and the generations who follow us.
